An Odd Manifesting Tool That Could Be Simply HUGE
I found a "new" tool in the most unlikely of places yesterday. I was reading one of my favorite books: Deep Writing, by Eric Maisel. It is one of my favorites for many reasons: it got me serious about my writing, it brought me the phrase "Meaning Maker," and it has great insight into the soul of humanity (well, the souls of writers, which feel so deeply about humanity). But here, in this unlikely place, I found a Law Of Attraction tool! Here's what I found.
Mr. Maisel was talking about how our minds resemble lunatic asylums ... you know, all the mental chatter that goes on, old tapes firing off without us knowing it, fears eating away at our resolve, you know ... all the mental activity that plays out with or without our conscious awareness that has way too much hidden power over our choices and actions.
Then he talked about what all the different kinds of therapists say is the best way to handle this ... "The supportive therapist says, talk to me, tell me your troubles, we can work this out together. The cognitive therapist says, let's eavesdrop on these conversations and see what's being said; whenever you hear something you don't like, say something different. The narrative therapist says, you've been living a made-up story of your life, a fiction, and we'll make up a different story together, a better fiction."
And then he makes a bold claim. Mr. Maisel says, "Bizarrely enough, the solution is simpler than these therapeutic answers. All you have to do is say 'hush' and mean it." And he's RIGHT!
I remember Abraham-Hicks saying something like, if you believe you need therapy, then you do. Or, you could decide that you can be done with your problems in an instant, and they are gone.
So, here is a "tool" for all those who have fear-thoughts racing through their head all too often. Here's to those who have the voices of family and loved ones, and maybe some enemies, that have been naysayers in their lives and whose reckless words have continued to cause havoc long past their expiration date. Here are to those whose dreams lie dormant for whatever reasons or who long to manifest something and have not felt worthy. Simply say "hush." Tell all your demons to take a hike ... be gone ... and let the stillness BE there within you so you can plant new seeds in its fertile soil. And if those demons raise their ugly heads again, repeat it ... "hush."
And see what happens.
Works for me!
Blissings,
CJ
